Chloe Starts School

Walking Chloe to School

Chloe Starts Kindergarten

A couple of weeks ago, Chloe started her first day of school. She is now a big “Kindergarten Girl”.  Having been in childcare for several years, I didn’t expect it to be such a big deal, but on that first day, as we took her in to class, I began to realise the significance of the day. Things had changed. Now, Chloe would start to have responsibilities in her life. No longer was it all about having everything done for her, today, she took the first tiny step toward growing into her own person.

It was a bizarre experience, walking through the Launceston Christian School. It seemed like only yesterday that I had been here as a student myself. Now I was a parent. I am feeling increasingly enthusiastic about Chloe’s education, and being a part of it. At the moment, she is absolutely loving school. She seems so at home.
Out little girl is growing up, and I am faced with yet another reminder that I’m supposed to be an adult now.
